Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Radha Madhav Dham to present Bhagavad Gita lectures in Silicon Valley

Silicon Valley is gearing up to receive a 7-day Bhagavad Gita lecture series by Swami Nikhilanand, disciple of Jagadguru Shree Kripalu Ji Maharaj. The insightful, engaging and fun Bhagavad Gita lecture series and chanting meditation will be delivered at Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Devasthanam, a Vedic Eduation and Devotional Academy in Milpitas, California. The Bhagavad Gita lecture series, called Essence of the Bhagavad Gita, will focus on chapters 7 to 12 of the Bhagavad Gita and will delivered by one of the most profound and prolific preachers of Bhagavad Gita today, Swami Nikhilanand, who is a pracharak (representative) of Jagadguru Shree Kripalu Ji Maharaj. Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Devasthanam, host of Bhagavad Gita lectures by Radha Madhav Dham

Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Devasthanam, was started in 2007 and run by a non-profit organization “VEDA” (Vedic Education and Devotional Academy). In a short span of over 3 years, they have purchased a permanent building for the temple at Milpitas and have begun operations on the auspicious day of 3rd July, 2010.

Since the beginning of the temple at the new premises, they have organized various Hindu religious activities like Festivals, Vedic rituals, spiritual and cultural events. Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Devasthanam conducts group Satynarayana Vratams at their temple on every Full-moon day. All Hindu religious festivals are celebrated and large number of devotees participate regularly. The highlight event of last year was Samuhika Satyanarayana Swamy vratam performed by Annavaram priests by bringing the divine idols from Annaavaram, A.P, India. This event was a huge success with large participation of devotees with a great enthusiasm and bhakti from all parts of the Bay area.

Other religious and spiritual events include performances by various eminent leaders – Sri Samavedam Shanmukha Sharma and Sri Viswamji, renowned musicians – Dr. Shobha Raj, Rama Chari, Malladi brothers and Alka Bhatnagar, and great poets like Jonnavittula Ramlingeswara Rao, Dr. Akkiraju Sundara Ramakrishna, Tanikella Bharani, Dr. Vaddiparthi Padamakar, Kurthalam Peetadipathi. Further, the temple has played host to several Bay area cultural organizations for their cultural events. In order to spread Indian culture, traditions and spiritual values, temple conducts Veda classes and other spiritual events for all age groups in the temple premises.
