All aboard the Kripalu Express!

Train of Jagadguru Shree Maharajji
All aboard the Kripalu Express!

Swami Mukundananda's sadhana camp in Mangarh came to a conclusion on Friday April 5th, 2013.

Devotees traveled from all over India and abroad to attend the camp, which began April 1st 2013. Devotees spent two days touring the JKP ashrams and the holy places of Braj, under the guidance of Swami Mukundananda. The camp commenced at Rangeeli Mahal ashram, Barsana. In the morning, there was a lovely tour of the holy places around Barsana, including Maan Mandir, Mor Kutir, Sankari Khor, Gahavar Van, and Shreeji Mandir. Later on, camp participants visited Goverdhan and Kusum Sarovar. The next day, camp participants traveled to Vrindavan to have darshan at Prem Mandir and Shyama Shyam Dham, followed by a tour of the holy places of Vrindavan and Krishna's birthplace in Mathura.

Devotees, (all 1200 of them!), then traveled together by a special night train from Mathura station to Kunda station, and then to Mangarh to meet Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj. The amazingly large, specially commissioned train was called Kripalu Express. Jay, a satsangee of Shree Maharajji described the unique and unprecedented scene:

"The Train was named Kripalu Express. Everywhere the banners of 'Kripalu Express' were clamped. The announcements at Mathura station and Kunda station were like Shree Kripaluji Maharaj ki train chalne vali hai... The effect was awesome. The environment was full of divinity. Passengers of the train were only Shree Maharajji's satsangis. For the first time in history a full train was booked and went to Mangarh for a Sadhana Shivir or any event under the guidance of H.H. Swami Mukundanandaji. Thank You Swamiji for making the Sadhana Camp a most memorable camp ever in our lives."

The Sadhana Camp was conducted in the presence of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj. Here are some glimpses:
