Children's Day & Diwali Celebrations 2012 at Jagadguru Kripalu Education

(Watch video here)

For the students of Jagadguru Kripalu Education Society, founded by Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, it was a double celebration as the school celebrated both Diwali and Children's Day 2012 with great joy and enthusiasm on 10th November 2012.

Diwali is a reason to celebrate as the air is filled with festive joy and fervor. Everywhere there are celebrations galore, and the splendor and warmth of this glorious festival was celebrated in our school with great aplomb. From costumes to stage settings, to the performance, everything simply fell in place and made an outstanding watch for the audience. There were two dance performances by KBPS students along with Rangoli decoration and different types of formation making by KBIC students. The efforts of the teachers as well as the students were applauded and extremely appreciated by our Principal Mrs. Gayatri Singh.

Children are God's gift! And childhood is all about innocence and liveliness. It is about happiness and freedom. Children's Day is celebrated in India to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Independent India's first Prime Minister. A day marking childhood, Children's Day celebrations focus on children and their enjoyment.

In order to celebrate Children's Day in advance, KBIC organised a "Kiddoz Carnival" for the children. Many fun-filled cultural activities were organised within the school premises. The activities included a fancy dress competition, nach baliye, one minutes games and so on. Children participated in various activities and winning students were rewarded generously. The food-stalls did good business, too. There were endless queues at the counters.
