Kaliya Naag Leela at Prem Mandir

One of the major attractions of Prem Mandir, the Divine monument established by Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj in Vrindavan, is the stunning and life like leela depictions which surround it. Visitors literally feel like they are visiting the Vrindavan of 5000 years ago when Shree Krishna lived there. There is Govardhan Leela, Jhulan Leela... in this post we will look at Kaliya Naag Leela.

First, let's take a look at a description of the Kaliya Naag Leela by Sushree Braj Banchary Devi, one of the foremost disciples of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj.

Now let's watch the leela in live action, in this stunning movie clip:

I will try to post some more up to date pictures of the Kaliya Naag Leela at Prem Mandir, but even pictures fail to depict it accurately - you have to experience it in person. It is an outstanding feat of modern construction, and an unprecedented Divine feat of conveying a real leela of Krishna in a way that you can actually experience it, and feel closer to Krishna. Here are a few pictures from when it was still under construction:
