Happy Raksha Bandhan 2012 to followers of Jagadguru Kripaluji Maharaj
Happy Rakcha Bandhan to all the Bhaiya
and Didi followers of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj!
Rakcha Bandhan 2012 is celebrated today August 2nd 2012, on the full moon day of Shravan (August) according to the Hindu calendar. Rakcha means ‘protection’ and bandhan means ‘to tie a knot.’ Rakcha Bandhan is also known as Rakhi. It has both, social and spiritual significance. As a social occasion it promotes good relations among family and friends, especially brothers and sisters. But in the spiritual sense a Spiritual Master ties a decorated thread (specially made for this occasion) around the wrist of the devotee which signifies his caring for his devotee. On this day thousands of devotees line up to receive a rakhi from Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj.

Rakcha Bandhan 2012 devotional song by Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj

Krishna is my master, my friend, my child as well as my beloved.

Today He is my brother too.

Radha and Krishna are my mother and father.

However, for today, Krishna is my brother!

He is brother of Balram.

However, I have also made Him my brother, today.

My brother, You perform raas (Divine dance), You also graze the cows.

You controlled the (black) snake, my brother!
I sacrifice myself on You.

You are the son of Mother Yashuda and Balram's brother.

Mother Yashuda sacrifices Herself on Him and dances in joy in a rhythmic way!
