Vrindavan: Without any difference of caste, color or country, to establish the highest power which is love, in Vrindavan the land of Divine leelas of Lord Shree Krishn and his hladini shakti Radha Rani, Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj has built a magnificent Temple. Built with service by all the sadhaks and their tears of love for this treasure of love, this unique temple of Shree Radha Krishn (Prem Mandir) was inaugurated with Vedic rituals on Feburay 17th. Prior to this on Feb. 15th morning at 7 am, a grand Kalash Yatra took place. On 16th Feb there was a grand procession and on 17th Feb deity establishment, lamp lighting and darshan was organized. After that, the first Arti and balloon show was arranged.
This grand Prem Madir of the Divine couple, built with hard work of 11 years is made of white Italian marble. Located on Chatikara marg of Shree Vrindavan Dham this unique residence of the Divine Couple has brought the ancient Indian craftsmanship to life. This temple is a heavenly beautiful gift given with love to Vrindavan by Kripaluji Maharaj. Shree Kripaluji Maharaj initiated the Prem Mandir with the stone laying ceremony in the presence of hundreds of thousands (lakhs) of people on 14th January 2001. From that day on, about 1000 craftsmen from Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh with thousands of their helpers had been busy carving and working on Prem Mandir. Completed after their tireless work of 11 years, this stunning creation has succeeded in revealing the essence of entire Shastras and Vedas, Shree Radha Rani as love personified.
Shree Kripaluji Maharaj says that until love is established as the highest power in the world, the spiritual welfare of the world is not possible. Established on 54 acres in Vrindavan this Prem Mandir is 125 feet high and 122 feet long and 115 feet wide. It has fountains, beautiful statues of Shree Radha Krishn, Shree Govardhan leela, Kaliya Nag leela, jhulan leela in the middle of the beautiful gardens. Prem Mandir portrays Divine love through its architecture. In order to bring the Divine bliss of love to the entire world without any difference of caste, color or country, this temple opens its doors in all four sides. In the main entrance doors there are torans etched of eight peacocks. The leelas of Shree Radha Krishn are etched (crafted) on the outer walls of the entire temple. The leelas depict how God is compelled towards the power of love and also is under the love the control of love through bhakti.
On the inside walls of Prem Mandir there are many different scenes of shree Radha Krishn and Shree Maharaj ji. Italian marble is carved on all the four sides presenting the ancient history. There are many Pad from ‘Prem Ras Madira’ written by Shree Maharaj Ji etched in various places of the temple. The two-story temple has Shree Radha Krishn and ashta mahasakshi’s fascinating murtis on the ground floor. The first floor has chaitanya murtis of Shree Seeta Ram. There are 94 crafted pillars with murtis of kinkari and manjari sakhis. The classic displays of mosaic and carving on the inside and outside of the sanctuary charms everyone’s heart. Etched on shiny marble slates there are simple and gistful couplets from ‘Radha Govind Geet’, which teach God-Realization as, described in Vedas, through simple path of bhakti.
According to Sanatan Dharm, God is omnipresent but general people cannot experience Him directly. In the presence of the Temples and Vigrahs (Murtis) of Shree Satchitanandghan we do establish our confidence in Him. Because of this, Rasik Saints have established such Grand Temples for the purpose of spiritual upliftment of the souls. Keeping this as a goal, Jagadguru Shree Kriapluji Maharaj has also established the Prem Mandir for establishing Divine Love as the highest reality of the entire world.
